2.1 Champions League: Path of Champions and Path of League Representatives
Every national champion who does not make it to the group stage of the Champions League or Europa League will receive € 260,000 in addition to the prize money for participating in each qualifying round .
All Champions League qualifiers who have not made it to the playoff round will receive:
For participation in the preliminary round - 230,000 euros
First qualifying round - € 280,000
Second qualifying round - € 380,000
Third qualifying round € 480,000 (Champions Path only, as clubs eliminated from the League Path are automatically promoted to the UEFA Europa League group stage and receive their prize money)
Exceptionally, all teams that flew charter flights to the Preliminary, First, Second and Third Qualifying Rounds received additional payments of € 40,000 for each such trip (or € 5,000 if traveling by bus).
2.2 UEFA Europa League: Champions path and Main path
All Europa League qualifiers will receive:
For participation in the preliminary round - 220,000 euros
First qualifying round - € 240,000
Second qualifying round - € 260,000
Third qualifying round - € 280,000
For participation in the play-off round - € 300,000 (only for eliminated clubs). There is no solidarity payout for the winners of the playoff round, but they will receive qualifying round payouts if they started fighting earlier in the qualifying stages.
All chartered crews received, as an exception, an additional payment of € 40,000 for each such trip (or € 5,000 for a bus ride).
3. Solidarity payments to clubs not participating in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League
Solidarity payments to clubs are made through national associations and / or leagues. These teams will receive 4% of the total income of the two tournaments. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was expected that € 130 million would be donated to national associations for distribution among their clubs. After deducting losses from COVID-19, the figure for clubs not participating in the 2020/21 season is expected to be approximately € 125 million . As stated in circular letter 07/2020, an additional € 10 million will be added to these solidarity payments in accordance with the income distribution criteria.
