Izvērtējot "Optibet" Nākotnes līgas 2024. gada sezonas dalībnieku atbilstību prasībām, Latvijas Futbola federācijas (LFF) Klubu licencēšanas pirmās instances padome ceturtdien piešķīra LFF B licenci desmit pretendentiem. Kopā ar tiem dalībai turnīrā pieteikušās arī četras virslīgas klubu dublieru komandas. Tāpat piešķirtas licences dalībai jaunajā Sieviešu futbola līgas (SFL) sezonā.

"OPTIBET" NĀKOTNES LĪGA:
Pēc visu kritēriju pilnvērtīgas izpildes licence piešķirta SK "Super Nova", Skanstes SK, JDFS "Alberts", JFK "Ventspils", AFA "Olaine", FK "Smiltene"/BJSS un "Ogre United" komandām.

"Leevon Saldus" licence piešķirta pēc visu kritēriju pilnvērtīgas izpildes. Padome gan vērš kluba uzmanību uz to, ka spēkā esošā sadarbība ar Saldus Sporta skolu var būt spēkā uz 2024. gada sezonu, taču gadījumā, ja "Leevon Saldus" 2025. gadā pretendēs uz LFF B licenci un būs mainīta kluba pirmās komandas lokācija, tad organizācijai, kurā būs "Leevon Saldus" jaunatnes sistēma, būs jāatrodas ne vairāk kā 50 kilometru attālumā.

"Mārupes SC" licence piešķirta ar nosacījumu, ka līdz š.g. 1. martam klubs iesniedz nepieciešamos dokumentus infrastruktūras kritēriju (rezerves stadiona dokumentācija), kā arī personāla un administratīvo kritēriju (personu kvalifikācijas dokumenti) pilnvērtīgai izpildei.

Padome lēmusi nepiešķirt LFF B licenci FK "Beitar" klubam saistībā ar sporta, personāla un administratīvo, finanšu, infrastruktūras un sociālās atbildības kritēriju neizpildi. Sekojoši padome izskatīja "Rēzeknes" kā pirmā rezerves pretendenta kandidatūru.

"Rēzekne" licence piešķirta ar nosacījumu, ka līdz š.g. 20. februārim klubs iesniedz nepieciešamos dokumentus finanšu kritēriju (nākotnes finanšu informācija) pilnvērtīgai izpildei.

Dalībai turnīrā pieteikušās arī sekojošas virslīgas klubu dublieru komandas - "Riga FC-2", RFS-2, "Valmiera FC-2" un FK "Tukums 2000/TSS-2".

Divu apļu turnīra sākums paredzēts 5.-7. aprīlī.

"Optibet" Nākotnes līgas uzvarētāji iegūst tiesības pārcelties uz "Optibet" Virslīgas čempionātu, bet otrās vietas ieguvēja aizvadīs pārspēles ar Virslīgas devīto labāko komandu. Vienības, kas "Optibet" Nākotnes līgas čempionātā ieņems 13. un 14. vietu, zaudēs tiesības piedalīties 2025. gada "Optibet" Nākotnes līgas čempionātā un savu vietu dos labākajām "Altero.lv LIIGA" pārstāvēm. Komanda, kas 2024. gada čempionātā ieņems 12. vietu, divās pārspēlēs tiksies ar "Altero.lv LIIGA" komandu, kas 2024. gada čempionātu noslēgs trešajā vietā.

SIEVIEŠU FUTBOLA LĪGA:
Valsts vadošajā sieviešu futbola turnīrā otro sezonu pēc kārtas spēkosies astoņas komandas.

Licences izsniegšanas kritērijiem pilnībā atbilda pieci klubi - Rīgas Futbola skola, FS "Metta", FK "Olaine", FK "Iecava" un Liepājas Futbola skola.

"Riga FC Women" licence piešķirta ar nosacījumu, ka līdz š.g. 1. martam klubs iesniedz nepieciešamos dokumentus personāla un administratīvo kritēriju pilnvērtīgai izpildei.

FK "Auda" un SFK "Rīga" licence piešķirta ar nosacījumu, ka līdz š.g. 1. martam klubi iesniedz nepieciešamos dokumentus infrastruktūras kritēriju pilnvērtīgai izpildei.

Līdz ar to SFL čempionātā šogad startēs visi pērnās sezonas dalībnieki, izņemot SK "Super Nova" komandu, kuras vietā sacensībās debitēs "Riga FC Women".

Trīs apļu turnīra sākums paredzēts 29. martā.

SFL turnīrā iepriekš lielākais komandu skaits bija septiņas 2014. un 2022. gada sezonās, bet jau pērn pirmoreiz vēsturē sacensībās piedalījās astoņas vienības. Līgas attīstības plāns paredz astoņu komandu dalību ar izkrišanas un paaugstināšanās sistēmu, tādējādi nodrošinot ritmisku spēļu kalendāru un veicinot konkurenci komandu starpā.

LETA. The budget of the Latvian Football Premier League in the 2024 season will be around 700,000 euros, Maksims Krivunecs, chairman of the board of the association "Latvijas Futbola Virslīga", announced at a press conference on Wednesday.

The new "Tonybet" Latvian football superleague season will start this weekend. "One of the tasks will be to increase the quality of live broadcasts by producing all games in high-definition quality. Discussions are also underway with one of the largest statistical platforms, Opta," Maksims Krivunec said about the news.

In previous seasons, the general sponsor of the Premier League was "Optibet", but starting with this season, a three-year agreement was signed with "Tonybet". "This season's budget will be around 700,000 euros, and my goal in the coming years would be to reach one million, which would help the clubs develop. This year, the support from the general sponsor is about 40% higher than last year," Krivunec revealed.

Also, the chairman of the board of LFV did not hide that one of his future goals is to create a Baltic football league in which clubs from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia would compete. "In five ten years, we will be behind even the average European leagues. We will lack both human and financial resources to reduce this gap. All three federations must analyze whether this project can be implemented or not, but I think it is a necessity," emphasized Krivunec.

At the end of the season, the national champion and cup winner of the previous season fought for the Super Cup, as the "Riga" team beat RFS in a series of penalty kicks. "The Super Cup will be a new tradition that we will definitely continue. The Livonia Cup held this winter is also important for development, because not all teams can go to camps abroad," said Vadims Lashenko, president of the Latvian Football Federation (LFF).

The Premier League championship with the participation of ten teams will be held in four rounds, with each team playing 36 games. 180 games are expected to be played until November 9. It is planned that two matches in each round this season will be under the supervision of VAR referees.

All games for the next two seasons will also be available on the "Sportacentrs.com" platform.
