Rygos futbolo klubo savininkas S. Lomakinas paskelbtas nepageidaujamu Latvijoje
https://www.diena.lt/naujienos/pasaulis ... je-1000822

Net nenoriu to komentuoti“, – sakė A. Proninas portalui Delfi.lv.

Ventspils municipality: "We must not donate parts of a football club to Shishhanov"
http://sportacentrs.com/futbols/virslig ... luba_dalas_

Although Adlans Šišhanovs, the owner of FC Ventspils, has expressed hopes that other shareholders could give them up free of charge, which would allow them to find other partners, the city municipality explains that the law forbids it to make such a gift.

Ventspils municipality, which owns 11.225% of the shares, has already tried to sell them at auction in three steps, but buyers have not applied either. In the first auction, the starting price was 79,864 euros, but in the third it had already halved to 31,946 euros. The City Council explains that it is a normal practice in auctions that on the first attempt buyers do not show up waiting for the starting price to be reduced, but in this case they turned out empty all three times, so they have to decide what to do next, but the desire to sell the property has not disappeared. Guntis Blumbergs, the first deputy chairman of the city council, under whose supervision Ventspils has a sports field, explains that the law does not allow simply donating these shares to a municipality: “According to the law, it would be a waste of municipal property

Shishhanov makes no secret of the fact that if the current shareholders do not want to leave the club, he hopes for more financial involvement, but Blumbergs points out that the municipality already provides considerable financial support to the football club. Every year, about 300 thousand euros are allocated to children's and youth football - that is, a football academy, without which no club can undergo Premier League licensing. The municipality plans to maintain this funding in the future.

The meeting of the owners of the football club "Ventspils", where the current situation in the club and possible solutions to problems will be discussed, is scheduled for the second half of next week.

Holdings "Noah" has announced the establishment of a new Latvian football club "Noa Jūrmala". This is not added in the press release prepared by the company, but it is understandable that the organization will take over the place of Daugavpils "Lokomotiv" in the Premier League and could agree with the "Dinamo Riga" academy.

"We are pleased to announce an agreement with Noah Holding in the areas of business, social media marketing and cooperation. I hope that this cooperation will change the attitude towards Latvian football in the coming year," said Bagrats Gazarjans, owner of FC "Noa Jūrmala".

"In addition to short-term tasks, the goal is to discover the potential of Latvian youth sports, to create a children's and youth academy that accepts the most talented young players and develops them to the level of professionals. Accordingly, we want Holding "Noa" includes the current Armenian Cup winner and league vice-champion "Noah Yerevan", as well as the Italian club "Siena", founded in 1904, "the statement continues.

RFS does not rule out the title of champion and goes to arbitration
http://sportacentrs.com/futbols/virslig ... ulu_un_ver

Last season's Latvian vice-champions RFS have filed a claim with the Sports Arbitration Court (CAS) to award "Liepāja" a technical loss in the widely discussed postponed game, according to the information available on the portal Sportacentrs.com If the claim is met, RFS will become the 2020 Optibet Premier League champions.

"Liepāja" hosted RFS footballers in the 22nd round of the tournament on October 19, but due to lighting problems, the fight was stopped in the second half. At that time, the result was 1: 0 in favor of the home team, but the Rigans decided to leave the venue and return to the capital, although "Liepāja" offered to accommodate them in their city and play the rest of the duel the next day. Later, the LFF Disciplinary Committee decided that the match should be replayed in Liepaja on November 20. Even then, the people of Kurzeme won with 1: 0.

Sportacentrs.com has received an RFS application from CAS. In it, the club requests to annul the decision of the Latvian Football Federation (LFF) Appeals Committee, in which the Riga team's application to award "Liepāja" technical loss has not been taken into account. RFS has now applied to CAS for a technical loss to the Liepaja players in the game of October 17, 2020, which was played on November 20, 2020.

Newcomer to the Premier League "Noah" has been left without investors from Armenia
https://sportacentrs.com/futbols/virsli ... s_mobile=0

The newcomer of the Premier League "Noah Jurmala", who previously started as Daugavpils "Lokomotiv", has lost its new investors from Armenia and accordingly is preparing to start in the Premier League without a connection with the holding "Noah". Alexander Jakubovsky, President of Lokomotiv, promised to provide answers to the questions of the portal Sportacentrs.com as soon as the started work on assembling the team is completed.

This was also reported by Yuri Zhigayev, a football reviewer, on his Twitter profile, while Russian coach Viktor Bulatov , who has been invited to "Noah" as a coach but has now left the team and returned to Russia, told the Russian media about the situation .

All this information shows that the holding "Noah" and the previous management of the club have not been able to agree on cooperation and Armenian investors will not be involved with this team. The club, when it was based in Daugavpils, was run by Aleksandrs Jakubovskis, who at the beginning of the year had organized the licensing process for the Premier League (by the way, at least in theory, financial guarantees are needed to prevent the club from suddenly failing). The information at the disposal of Sportacentrs.com shows that the Armenian side wanted Jakubovskis to no longer actively participate in the work of the club after the licensing process and did not count on further cooperation.
