Well something is clearly wrong at this team at the moment. Its "interesting" to witness. KZ have in my opinion the best squad in the league but I would look for 1 or 2 new wingers to support the new striker Renan. I am not that impressed by the new guy Leo. I am not sure if he is really up to it. But I think the biggest problem at the moment is mentally. Something is clearly off here. Do they have the upcoming CL matches too much in their heads? Or is the issue really between the coach and the players? Something needs to change asap, otherwise KZ can forget about winning the title(s) this season.

I think that the big problem is that they do not have enough good lithuanians. Now they have Renan, where do they put him? Instead of Burba? it is upgrade Where Burba will play? like winger?Instead of Ribeiro or Ourega? it is downgrade. They have one lithuanian as a goallie, had Burba in front and then sometimes Gratas, sometimes Lekiatas. Very difficult decision for the stuff

Do you mean that the lack of good (starting 11) lithuanian players influences the culture in the team and in the squad in general, or is it the lack of football quality on the pitch from them you mean?
I tend to agree with you if its the culture thing you mean. I always think its a good thing to have more national players than foreign players. National players tend to understand what club they represent more than foreign players in general. It means more for the national players. Most of foreign players, and this is the case everywhere, epspecially in these small and medium size leagues, are just there to move up to a bigger stage.

I actually think that Svedkauskas, Sirgedas (play him more!) and Lekiatas (when he is playing, and is not getting stupid yellow/red cards) are very good lithuanian players for this league. But yeah, I think KZ could use more of this level of lithuanian players. I am sure that they have tried, but its difficult to get them.

Not that Burba, Gratas or Lekiatas are bad players for this league, but if you would try to pick the optimal starting squad for KŽ would you pick them? Maybe Sirgėdas, but not the other two I think. Yet you have to pick two Lithuanian outfield players in order to comply with the rules, hence you have to pick a squad that is sub-optimal for every single game and have far less in game flexibility when it comes to substitutions. It should not affect them to the extent that this would explain their recent form, but it is a problem which was evident even before the season started.
Žalgiris Vilnius had the similar problem (and even more acute) last year.

Sirgedas would be in my prefered starting eleven for sure. I dont know why the coach keeps seperating him and Pavlovic. They did so well together last season where I think KZ played some very good football. I dont know if they are suffering from small injuries or what it is, but it dosent make sense for me. I dont think Karashima is better than any of these two players,

But yea, Sirgedas and Svedkauskas is about it. Lekitas are supposed to do good in the league with his football abilities , but he is losing his head now and then. But I do prefer Hernandez and Tolordova. They are strong together.

As I wrote in my earlier post, I also believe it would benefit KZ to get more lithuanian players at top level. I am sure they tried. But I reckon its diffucult to get them for various reasons.

Taip jau būna, kai nesuvaldo disciplinos problemų komandoje. Jaunas treneris, su tuo jis dar neturėjo patirties. Černiauskas jis turi ateitį, turi braižą, bet turi dar tobulėti. O kur toliau vyks, parodys laikas.

Well, the coach cant really be blamed for the result today. A player from this team once again decided to sell out his teammates. But overall it is the right decision I think. There seemed to be something off between the coach and the players.

It will be interesting to see who they will hire as a new coach. Probably someone with a lot of experience so KZ can get back on track and at least win the league title. They have the players for it.
