Čia gal ne į temą, bet čia per teismus, politiką ir t.t. besitęsianti melodrama apie pagalbą Kipro futbolo klubams:

Finance ministry urges football clubs to settle €35.6m in debt
https://cyprus-mail.com/2024/09/24/fina ... 6m-in-debt

The finance ministry on Tuesday sent a letter to football clubs participating in the debt repayment scheme, urging them to settle their debts to the state, totalling €35.6 million, which were accumulated from July 2007 to March 2023. Previously, debts amounting to €10 million were also written off.

The ministry also submitted a new document to parliament detailing the names of the football clubs, the total debts owed to the state and the new debts they have accumulated. It also includes the amounts each club must pay monthly.

Apoel had total debts of €13.7 million as of March 2023. Under the repayment plan, Apoel is required to pay approximately €82,000 monthly to the state.

Omonia’s total debts stood at €5.3 million as of March 2023, needing to pay €32,000 monthly. Ael reported total debts of €4.5 million in March 2023, requiring monthly payments of €26,920. Apollon had total debts of €4.1 million, with a monthly instalment set at €24,740. Anorthosis Famagusta owed €4 million as of March 2023, requiring monthly payments of €24,198.

Ethnikos Achnas reported total debts of €1.15 million, requiring monthly payments of €6,887. Aris Limassol’s debts totalled €477,371, requiring a monthly payment of €2,841. Nea Salamina’s total debts were €409,019, necessitating a monthly payment of €2,434. Paphos FC reported total debts of €74,382, requiring monthly payments of €442.75.

Aek Larnaca, Karmiotissa, and Aez Zakakiou reported no tax liabilities as of March 2023, according to the finance ministry’s document.

Apoel owe more than €1 million to state in unpaid taxes

According to the Audit Office, out of the 19 clubs which owed unpaid taxes in 2023, five had not made a single payment since the latest repayment plan was agreed in 2023, with 14 having since accumulated new tax debts. That plan’s deadline was set for June 2037, and the plan is still, hypothetically at least, in play.

Altogether, the 19 clubs owe the state €33.2 million in taxes. The repayment deadline is 14 years – by June 2037.

IF HE WAS not such a union-pandering communist, we could have felt a bit of sympathy for Labour Minister Yiannis Panayiotou, after he was hung out to dry by Prezniktwo, in order to appease the howling Apoel mob that wanted to drink his blood.

Nebe į temą, bet tiktai dabar sužinojau, kad Maribor priklauso tam pačiam multi-club modeliui kaip ką tik į Premier Lygą iškopę Hull.

Hull City's Turkish chair Ilicali plans to invest in Slovenian club NK Maribor

The biggest issue is that the Turks (Basgul) seem to think you can have success in Slovenia (and Europe) by bringing Africans from the 2nd or 3rd French league. They have already been proven wrong and recent signings show they might become aware of it.
So far he hasn't done anything noteworthy outside of brining 30 new players in and sacking 3 coaches. Last one lasted less than a month. It's a shitshow. He and his sporting director got a lot of players from amateur leagues all around Europe for basically free hoping they would find a diamond. So far none have impressed. They clearly aren't good enough but the coaching staff keeps playing them over our own boys. We have over 50 players on contract.
Ir panašiai apie selektyvius žaidėjus, kuriems turkišku stiliumi tempiama guma išmokant atlyginimus/kompensacijas. Įdomus valdymas.

How – and why – Welsh football's top division is changing like never before
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/arti ... 5dwkg13q1o

What's changing?

As well as more teams - up from 12 to 16 - and a new format, there is the switch from default Saturday football to floodlit Fridays, with the majority of games taking place in what the league says is its "own space".

After years of planning, organisers are convinced changes being introduced will help [realistically hit eventual targets of 1,000-plus attendances at every game.]

The move is not without controversy in a league where a four-hour-plus drive separates some clubs, and none bar long-running champions The New Saints are full-time.

For the first time, the league will have video reviewing through the Fifa-approved VAR Light system. It's a simplified version of the VAR system used elsewhere, designed for smaller leagues.

Just four key cameras will be used, and a video assistant referee will be on site at the ground and in control of the operation themselves.

£150m needed to tackle shortage of football facilities in Wales
https://nation.cymru/sport/150m-needed- ... -in-wales/

Grassroots football in Wales will require £150 million of investment over the next five years to tackle a growing shortage of pitches and meet record participation levels, according to the Football Association of Wales and the Cymru Football Foundation. The organisations estimate Wales currently has a shortfall of 51 full-size 3G artificial grass pitches, with that figure expected to rise to 119 by 2030 if participation continues to grow.

Since 2022, registered player numbers have increased by 21%, including a 47% rise in women and girls playing the game, a 36% increase in youth players and a 114% increase in disabled players. The Football Association of Wales (FAW) has reached a landmark in player registrations with 120,000 signed up.

Since launching in 2022, the Cymru Football Foundation has invested more than £27 million in football facilities across Wales, delivering 46 artificial pitches and more than 60 clubhouses and changing rooms.

The plans will be used to prioritise future investment across all 22 local authority areas, although individual projects will depend on funding availability, deliverability and local need. The plans prioritise investment in new 3G pitches, improved natural grass pitches, upgraded changing rooms and clubhouses, and more small-sided community football facilities.
