English Born Ugandan Talent Divine Mukasa Wins Second FA Youth Cup with Man City ... -man-city/

Rising star Divine Mukasa has won his second FA Youth trophy after featuring in the Manchester City U-18s team that defeated Leeds United 4-0 in the final on Friday night.

Mukasa was born in England in 2007 to Ugandan father Sam Mukasa and Lithuanian mother Laima Mukasa, but decided to represent his birth place at the international level, and has been a significant boost for the England national team.

The 16-year-old attacking midfielder has previously represented England at the U-15 and U-17 levels and joined Manchester City from West Ham United in September 2023 after winning his first FA Youth Cup title with the London-based club.

Friday’s triumph marks Mukasa’s second FA Youth Cup victory, solidifying his reputation as one of the bright young talents. The youngster was instrumental in Manchester City’s triumph, playing a key role in the midfield alongside Charlie Gray and one of the goalscorers Justin Oboavwoduo.

The match, played at the Etihad Stadium saw Manchester City secure the most prestigious youth trophy with a dominant display. Goals from Oboavwoduo, Jaden Heskey, Stephen Mfuni, and Matty Warhurst ensured the victory for Manchester City.

The Cityzens have now won the FA Youth Cup on four occasions, following their previous triumphs in 2020, 2008, and 1986. Mukasa featured in four of City’s FA Youth Cup games in their run for this season’s title.
